Kerry Prout

Kerry Prout holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from the University of Michigan-Flint and a Master of Business Administration degree from Northwood University. Along with the Charter Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation, she has also earned the Associate in Insurance Services (AIS), Associate in General Insurance (AINS), and Associate in Commercial Underwriting-Management (AU-M) from The Institutes and the Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS) from International Risk Management Institute (IRMI). Kerry began her insurance career in January 2015 at Frankenmuth Insurance as a Commercial Lines Rater in the Michigan Region. Her role changed to an Underwriting Support Representative in 2017. In April 2023 Kerry was promoted to a Commercial Lines Underwriter in the Southeast Region where she currently manages a $13M territory in Georgia. Kerry is also actively involved with the Frankenmuth Toastmasters Club. She and her husband of 25+ years share their home with their fur babies – 3 dogs and 1 cat – and enjoy fresh eggs from their chickens.

Thomas Dukes

Tom Dukes is an actuary at Frankenmuth Insurance. He previously worked as a both a Data Scientist and an Actuarial Technician at Frankenmuth (2017 – 2023) and Auto-Owners Insurance (2014 – 2017). He graduated from Albion College in 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in German and International Studies, with a minor in Statistics. He has earned the AINS and CPCU designations and is an Associate of the Casualty Actuary Society. Tom and his wife live in Bay City.

Erin Wasick

Erin Wasick holds a Bachelor's Degree in Fisheries and Wildlife from Michigan State University. She earned her CPCU designation in 2021. In addition, Erin holds her Associate in General Insurance (AINS). She started her insurance career as the receptionist at Pioneer State Mutual. She moved over to the personal lines department the same year, to the commercial team in 2021, and was promoted to Commercial Underwriter in 2022. Erin enjoys spending time in the outdoors with her husband and their two sons.

Rachael Klinski

Rachael Klinski is an IT Manager at Frankenmuth Insurance, where she leads a team of Scrum Masters and Quality Assurance experts for software application development. She graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with a Bachelor's in Business Administration. She holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation, as well the Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU), Associate in Information Technology (AIT) and Associate in Insurance Services (AIS). Rachael began her career at Frankenmuth Insurance as a Commercial Underwriting Technician in 1999. She transferred to IT in 2002, where she was a business systems analyst and scrum master until her promotion to a leadership role in August 2023. She and her husband have two children, and they enjoy camping, golfing, and travelling anywhere warm with a beach!

Sara Roberson

Sara Roberson holds a Master degree in Computer Science from Detroit Mercy University. She has earned her Certified Scrum Master(CSM), Project Management Professional (PMP), Associate in Insurance Data Analytics (AIDA) and the Charter Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. Sara joined the Frankenmuth Insurance staff in the fall of 2015 as a scrum master for Commercial Lines. Sara supported several IT teams in this role. In 2018, Sara transitioned to the Business Systems Analyst role with the document processing team. She lives in Frankenmuth and has two children. Outside of work, she enjoys golf, pickleball and traveling. She’s a member of the Michigan Women’s golf association.

Laura L Zabel

Laura Zabel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Baker College. She earned her CPCU designation in 2016, attending the conferment ceremony in Hawaii. In addition, Laura also holds her Certificate in General Insurance and her Associate in Insurance Services (AIS) designations. Laura started at Frankenmuth Insurance in 2003 as a high school co-op in the APM Department, and then she transferred to the Marketing Department in 2008. Two years later, Laura was selected for the ICDP (Insurance Career Development Program) where she worked in Claims, Personal Lines Underwriting, and Commercial Lines Underwriting. In 2011, she joined the IT Information and Portal Services Department and then joined the Agency Automation Team. In 2019, Laura was promoted to her current role, IT Manager of Automation Support. She is married and has two children.
